Matt Drudge is an American journalist and columnist, best known as the creator of the popular news website "Drudge Report." He was born on October 27, , in Tahoma Park, Maryland, USA.
His parents, who were liberal-minded, worked in the federal government.

They divorced when Matt was six years old, and he remained with his mother. He attended Northwood High School and in , after being arrested for harassing phone calls and undergoing rehabilitation, he moved to live with his father in Maryland.
