    The Ukrainian-American conceptual artist Ilya Kabakov completed 155 installations between 1983 and 2000, which were installed around the world.

    Installations

    The series of albums Ten Characters (1972–1975) helped formulate much of Kabakov's later work.

    In the albums he offers the viewer a narrative of a fictional character, which, in 1983, he began to transform into complete immersive experiences.
