Fugitive fighting for Lugansk separatists will skip court date for war

Notorious National Bolshevik radical activist Beness Aijo, who skipped the country against the terms of his parole last month, has changed his mind about coming home to face a court date, reported news wire BNS Thursday.

In a press release he states he will send his lawyer Imma Jansone to present his case instead.

He claims to have left Latvia on December 9 upon escalation of the situation in Donbas region of Ukraine, which he called an “anti-national junta” against which he is currently “taking part in the war” with the ‘Lugansk people’s republic’ army.

Earlier he had warned of his return to defend his case in court.

In his statement he laments Latvia’s transformation from a “rich, growing internati
